Blood sausages and lard, meat pates, mincemeat, pickles, marinades, jelly, home-made tinctures in branded bottles-damask - in "Shinok" they put everything in New Year's baskets, without which a serious feast of serious people is unthinkable. Each gift is collected for a specific customer, if desired, hot snacks can be added, such as a roasted duck or a whole leg of lamb. Mushroom gastronomy, alcohol and candy prepared with mushrooms at Mushrooms

Mushroom gastronomy in Mushrooms is not at all pates and pickles that you can cook yourself or, at worst, buy in almost any store. Here, truffle salt, bamboo mushroom salt, black chanterelle jam, truffle honey, truffle vodka (we expect it to be snapped up in the very first days) and - for the most daring and curious - fly agaric tinctures are put in New Year's baskets. All this was done in cooperation with the Mushroom Place project.

How: Small 100-gram jars of truffle salt, honey, etc. - an average of 400-500 rubles.

The most defiant

Candy sets at Chicha

Candy is trite? We do not agree. First, it's practical! Chocolate is always in place - unlike figurines collecting dust with regular symbols of the year. Secondly, chocolates from the Chicha restaurant are a mini-excursion to all areas of Peruvian cuisine. Chinese-Peruvian chifa is milk chocolate with orange and Chinese tea, Japanese-Peruvian nikkei is white chocolate with wasabi, and Creole is dark chocolate with coffee and chili. Finally, the box contains not cute sweets, but brutal chocolate skulls - it's hard not to remember such a gift.

How: A set of 9 sweets - 600 rubles.

Gingerbread boxes with marmalade, chocolates, marshmallows and gingerbread in "Myas"

The Meat steakhouse decided that the way to women's hearts is not through steaks, but through something more elegant and decorative, edible and, of course, sweet. The restaurant's confectioners came up with painted gingerbread boxes. We, frankly, regret that it was not made of meat, but how it happened. Two options turned out to be nostalgic, they were decorated with glaze and stylized as Gzhel and Khokhloma. The third is minimalistic, without patterns, but with white icing. In all boxes, as in gift sets from children's Christmas trees, they put raspberry or orange marmalade, truffles and fruit marshmallows of their own production. As well as the actual gingerbread, for a change - figured ginger. The box can be painted and filled according to your order.

How: Sets - from 1000 rubles.

Box of "Local food" with products

Boxes of "Local food" are filled with original and tasty products from not yet promoted manufacturers from all over Russia. Most of these products cannot be found in regular supermarkets. Each according to his needs: there are boxes with jams and sauces (5-9 jars), with sweets (4-5 products: artisan chocolate, cranberries in sugar or biscuits) and a box of the month (6-7 new products). Unlike store-bought options, the sweet real estate here is made entirely from natural ingredients. Food for the New Year's table from "Honest Kitchen"

In the restaurant of chef Sergey Eroshenko, they decided to fill the empty culinary niche with solid meat, fish and game dishes for the festive time. From the "Honest Kitchen" you can take away and put in the center of the home table a sterlet (Volga, smoked on apple branches, or whole, baked in a Russian oven), a Dagestan lamb shoulder baked with rosemary and garlic, a whole suckling pig, a deer leg, and even, against all New Year's signs, kashira rooster shish kebab. Olivier and jelly are playing for New Year's classics, but not simple ones: the main New Year's Eve salad is prepared with king crab meat, and jelly is made from three types of game. Also on the menu are relatively inexpensive pies (760 rubles with roe deer on an onion cream pillow with sweet dates and smoked cheese), meat delicacies, and salads.

Autumn is not only a time for summing up and gradual. This is also the right moment to think about the pleasant - about the future! Why so early? Because they give for the New Year. And if you want to prepare special gifts for family and friends, it's time to start preparing them. After all, for this you will need the gifts of your garden, which you need to harvest right now. We have already talked about how to use . And this time we will make edible gifts out of it.

An edible gift is not just a culinary dish, even if it is decoratively decorated. This is an author's thing in an unusual, and sometimes very tasty package! If you combine cooking and decoration, you can create delicious and beautiful presents for your loved ones. And they, no doubt, will cause a sea of delight, and you will show a special attitude towards the person to whom you give them.

They usually do not require costs, since everything is made from their “raw materials”. The maximum that you can spend (if you need to buy some small decor or a simple product - for example, a piece of cheese) is 200-300 rubles. What foods can be used to make edible gifts? In fact, of any, but the best options are - that is, what grows in your country house: no exotic, and you don’t need to buy almost anything. Some will need to be laid on to be used fresh, and some -. With fresh storage, everything is clear, but the process of making gifts from dried vegetables, fruits and herbs has its own characteristics:

  1. Firstly, it is 80% handmade, there is a minimum of devices. Scissors, a curly grater, needles, threads, braid, ribbons, beads and similar decor are the main ones. And in addition - acrylic paints, sparkles, colored decorative contours (in special cases).
  2. Secondly, the production of such gifts should begin at a stage when vegetables, fruits and herbs are still fresh and we can process them. Vegetables, for example, figuredly cut. Or make blanks for weaving from them and then weave various cute figures. You can also weave from spicy herbs. In addition, balls, small bouquets and "nests", rings and spirals can be made from them. Fruits can be strung like beads, made from them, made candy and. There are a lot of ideas here, such is the material!
We also need cheese, grapefruit (also not a curiosity) and flour. So, we make Christmas gifts. I have prepared for you such ideas that even novice decorators can implement without special training:
